​​Tree Foundation is supporting DrawDAO, which has launched November 2022. DrawDAO is on a mission to fund the creation of new carbon removal projects. Carbon Gardener is a citizen science project led by climate scientist Dr. Garrett Boudinot in tandem with high schools across the Northeast. They will evaluate if adding rock dust to local school gardens removes carbon, and will share their findings. Rock dust and the inorganic carbon cycle is a natural process that already removes 1 billion tons of carbon from the atmosphere every year.

All DrawDAO funded projects are 100% open source. Research and progress updates will be shared with academic communities and our donors. Donations made are tax deductible charitable contributions.
